Jaya Modi is a recent postgraduate from University of the Arts London. Her education in Graphic and Media Design invoked her keen interest in Visual Cultures and Communication. Articulating through dedicated contextualisations of both the work and its meaning, she strives to design with an amalgamation of theory and praxis, which she believes, proves beneficial to her practical outcomes and strengthens her merits overall, as a designer.
Her design enquiry during her postgraduate project investigated the act of eating, placed within various socio cultural and political frameworks.
