Maria Beltran Marin lives and works in Barcelona, where she was born in 1985.
She graduated (2008) in Media Communication Studies at Pompeu Fabra University and, after a while, she decided to reach a specialization on Graphic Design.
She has studied two master degrees at Elisava, one of Graphic design related to comunication and book publishing (2009) and the second one linked to Applied Typography (2010). She has also made several courses on book binding and other fields related to design.
Now she works as a freelance graphic designer and teaches book-bindings in Gris Art photography school.
She has participated in several contests with Pesca Salada, the studio she shares with Pol Viladoms (architect and photographer) and they were awarded in 2010 with a Silver Laus (ADG-FAD) for the book project "Home".
