Sérgio Correia is a communication designer and teacher. Graduated in Communication Design at ESAD Matosinhos and Specialist in Audiovisual and Media Production at IPT Tomar, he has been teaching at ESAD since 2003, in Communication Design and Digital Arts and Multimedia Degree and Digital Typography Advanced Studies, integrating parallel events such as the "Mediations" exhibition (XIV Biennial of Cerveira , 2007), the project "Scope" (ESAD, 2009/2011) or the "National Exhibition of Young Creators", for which he’s work is selected in the category of graphic design.

At the same time, and after 5 years of working as a freelancer, he founded in 2005 the studio Asymmetric Studio, where he established partnerships with several national offices in the areas of photography, communication design and multimedia.

Today, it focuses mainly on identity and packaging, as well as exploring the identity of wines and their producers, an objective that led to the creation of the D-VINE brand, a project launched in 2014.

In addition, he often invests in complementary formations, such as Experimental Serigraphy (ESAD), Programming in Processing (Catholic University), Circuit-Bending (Curtas V. Conde), Super8 (Curtas V.

Conde), Robotics (ESAD) Cinema 4D (ESAD), Typography (ESAD), Illustration (ESAD) or Live Visual Interfaces (Short V. Conde). He also develops research in typography and interactive systems, within the scope of the Master in Communication Design that he is doing at ESAD.
