By using the concept of reading, the visual illusion appears on the paper, which makes the viewer immerses in mirage-like reality. The artwork - “Message Obscured by Form” is a pseudo-3D work, in the shape of a book but cannot be opened.
This optical distraction is caused by our visual experience. However, the exhibition brochure, which is in the form of “Message Obscured by Form”, can be opened and read in real life; this reproduction resonates with the curatorial theme – the contrast of shape and object, virtuality and reality.
