The first GLOBAL TOOLKIT & GAME to cultivate changemaker teams anytime anywhere. On a global context of social, ecological and cultural-spiritual crisis there is an urge to activate strong young people to face their local challenges and make an impact on their communities.
Mauritanian youth has a big unemployment rate, a lack of a fertile labour ecosystem and low aspirations, but huge potential to unlock. Equatorial Coca Cola Bottling Company is supporting the creation of an innovative educational project that can lead to a generation of proactive people with entrepreneurial vocation in Mauritania.
DOT and Ane Arzelus have collaborated to design a new model based on the methodology of Mondragon Team Academy (MTA) and translating the educational process into a “gamified learning experience”.
This game serves as the key support product that facilitates the expansion of the model and the generation of entrepreneurial teams that will transform their communities for the better.
The main concept that unifies the language, visuals and actions of the game is the discovery of STARS, CONSTELLATIONS and SPACE TRAVEL. This project started on july 2019 and it is still in progress.
So far 20 team-trainers have been trained and 260 youngsters have been involved in teams of 10 people to play the collaborative and real game. Those teams will lead change in their communities and project and initiatives will be implemented.
