Il Design che non c’è

Susanna Vallebona / ESSEBLU

MISSING DESIGN / DESIGN THAT COULD BE ADI Lombardia asked all those residents interested in the quality of life in Milan to point out by sending photographs taken with a mobile phone all those situations that through the absence of good design make the daily lives of everyone in the city worse.

The images received were exhibited last June at the Triennale of Milan and a vote by visitors to the exhibition led to the identification of the major problems to be solved.

The brand is designed with interrupted letters to reiterate the concept of missing design.

Susanna Vallebona was born in Milan. In 1981 she opened her own Esseblu studio. She is a proboviro of AIAP, councilor of ADI Lombardia, member of the Lombardy Commission of the Italian Osservatorio Permanente del Design and member of Food Design Commission ADI. In collaboration with Giancarlo Iliprandi and Ino Chisesi she designed the coat of arms of the Province of Milan and curated the visual identity system of the Province; both were selected and the ADI Design Index 1999-2000.
