A new brand that was created to put head and heart into sports education, integrating emotional intelligence into school sport in a structured way through a specific emotional education programme. Aimed at schools and sports clubs that organise extracurricular sports activities.
Taupaka means "beating" in Basque and Kirola means "sport"; this is how we combine the whole concept in the naming: sport that is felt, sport that is lived, sport from the heart...
For its design we have played with different colours and simple icons when building the brand; they merge together to create simple shapes that represent the 3 pillars on which the Kirola Taupaka brand is based: children, coaches and family.
To raise awareness of the new brand in schools, we have sent out a direct message: “Now the ball is in your court”. Some appointments have already been made and we are waiting for feedback from others, so that we can present the method in order to meet the objectives:
1.- To improve the well-being and integral development of children participating in school sport activities.
2.- To strengthen their capacity to regulate emotions, develop resilience and other skills for present and future life in all areas (personal, sports, professional, relational...).
3.- To contribute to stop violence in school sport.
