Nico Roig Vol 71

Vol.71 is the astral travel of Nico Roig, in a record: A space capsule that takes us to other planets identical to ours but with different atmospheres and different gravities: a dark night landscape with an important energy influence, which could be the moon. The cover is a portrait of the artist in a first-quarter moon phase (by the photographer Laia Gutiérrez) where we can discover our weight on other planets by turning the LP wheel. The composition of the lyrics and text is inspired by a starry sky at night and while we are removing the LP we can play with the moon phases.

Ingrid Picanyol is a creative director and graphic designer from Barcelona. After working with Suki Design Studio, RoAndCo, Javas Lehn Studio and By Futura, and living in New York City and Mexico City, now she runs her own Barcelona-based studio and works in collaboration with a wide range of creative people.
