Coming from a graphic design background, this photographer tries to capture every day’s surfing & sea lifestyle as well as its culture. This selection shows an evolution of his work from an initial state where action was the main attraction of his photography.
Then he evolved into a more elaborated style where he focus on negative space, composition and colour to communicate the emotions of that very moment. Is not about action anymore but abut feelings.
Comfortable both inside and outside the water, Ander tries to get close to the action always respecting the distance between the subject and himself. He uses both digital and analogic cameras for this purpose.
