UN HOMBRE RUBIO (A BLOND MAN)

Susana Blasco & Eider Corral

A long gone father and his daughter getting deep into their emotional landscapes. Blurred gender identities unraveling themselves within a vanishing romantic world. Lord Byron and Federico García Lorca.

That was the starting point for us to create the artwork of Christina Rosenvinge's latest album. The imagery is based on the idea of the horizon as a connecting place between worlds and identities but also as an unbreakable line between past and present times.

Uncoated gold, klein blue, black and white. Flat powerful inks in contrast with a slightly ornamented Caslon used in an almost minimalistic way. Blurred identities once again.

SUSANA BLASCO is a graphic designer, illustrator and “collagist”. All of her works distill a strong symbolic significance, where the central axis is the concept. Each piece is an excuse for her to try out, mix, shake and amuse herself in the game, the sense of humor and double senses.

Her clients, from great institutions to small orders, come usually from the world of the culture. In 2017 she receives a Gràffica Award for her contribution to collage technique.
