Xunta de Galicia (government of the autonomous region) requested a manual to manage the usage of its brand and its assets across all departments, media and platforms. After a in-depth analysis we proposed instead to develop a full restructuring of the brand's architecture and visual system in order to make it practical for its user base (more than 150.
000 public employees) and visually consistent for its target (virtually every Galician citizen) on any touchpoint. Trough structuring and simplfication we were able to develop a restyled visual style, a monolithic brand architecture declination system and a user-focused visual identity manual.
The new identity is therefore based on four pillars:- A visual system that reduces costs and simplifies application. - A brand architecture that ensures consistency, avoids improvisation and keeps the brand on focus.
- A redefined corporate color than ensures consistency and screen contrast. - A new custom typeface designed by NM type foundry that can be used across all media, from the logo to corporate documents.
