"Cuchi, ¡qué tipo!/Hey, what a man!" is really a wordplay nickname for Carlos Campos ("tipo" in spanish means both type and guy, and "cuchi" is an andalusian colloquial expression for "hey" or "look"). Carlos Campos is a Graphic Designer and typography teacher at the EASD José Nogué de Jaén (Andalusia, Spain). Co-founder with Viky Rodríguez of the event Órbitas Jaén, that it celebrates in the same city, and also promoter of "Cuchis", that are casual events dedicated to promote the typography culture. With another colleague (Juan Montoro), Carlos is also currently working in the investigation and recovery of street and traditional lettersigns in his city, as an university project called Rótulos chuléricos de Jaén / Supercool lettersigns from Jaén, which is member of Red ibérica en defensa del patrimonio gráfico / Iberian net in defense of graphic heritage. Besides, Carlos is the official dog walker of his little cute dog Kora Ampersand ("ampersand" comes from her natural position when she falls asleep on his bed). Además, Carlos es el paseador oficial de su perrita Kora Ampersand ("ampersand" proviene de su posición natural cuando se queda dormida en la camita).
