Marta Cerdà es una artista independiente de Barcelona que trabaja en proyectos que van desde la dirección de arte, al diseño, la ilustración o la tipografía. Para ella la separación de estas disciplinas en actividades especializadas es una limitación incompresible. Su cuerpo principal de trabajo se encuentra precisamente en los límites entre todas estas disciplinas. Según la revista Vogue Marta Cerdà “moldea, destruye y retuerce a su antojo el alfabeto para convertirlo en disciplina artística.”
Su trabajo ha sido reconocido por prestigiosos concursos de diseño como The Type Directors Club, The Society of Publication Designers, The Art Directors Club Young Guns o el premio Graffica, entre otros. Marta Cerdà también da conferencias sobre diseño y creatividad en congresos y universidades de todo el mundo.

Marta Cerdà Alimbau brings functional beauty and emotion to Design, translating each project into an effective design that is unique. Her main body of work is focused on the boundaries between typography and illustration. While Marta’s style is strongly eclectic, she believes that the separation of these two disciplines into specialized activities is a limitation. Since 2008, she has worked on global projects which call for Art Direction, Design, Illustration and Custom Typography for Arts, Culture and Advertising Clients abroad.
