Kobuki is well known as an iconic leather sneakers handcrafted in Singosari, Malang, Indonesia. They invited Fanrong Studios to collaborate and response their sneakers to celebrate Chinese New Year 2017.
Our work scope ranging from concepting the story behind this sneakers, designing all attribute, posters, launching exhibition, art directing for lookbook, social media and the most part that we love "choosing the leather".
As we know celebration closely related with firework, we get huge inpired by vintage firework visual and deconstruct some font for our own exploration. As the result white sneakers with chinese ambience and red dominated color that represent Fanrong Studios.
