Rolling Flower

Marta Navarro Sánchez

The sustainable caravan “Rolling Flower” is inspired by the organic shape of a flower, with its structure formed by petals at the top. It is crafted from natural materials such as bamboo wood for the structure, integrated solar panels on the petals for energy generation, and organic fabrics for the interior. The flower shape not only provides aesthetic appeal but also maximizes solar energy capture and rainwater harvesting for a fully sustainable approach. The interior design features a versatile workspace with a convertible desk, a compact kitchen with low-energy appliances, and a round bed and bathroom, adding curvature to the interior and ergonomic design. The bathroom includes waste composting, converting organic waste into natural fertilizer to enrich the soil. The circular design of “Rolling Flower” creates a harmonious and functional living space that promotes sustainability and ecological living.
