Squid-Skin is a colorful project interacting with the human body and clothing. It immitates the skin of a squid which is able to change its color in order to disguise itself.
Just like the pigments of the squid´s skin, the scenery changes color to match the persons clothing. This is realised by dilating the tracked colors which are then spreading into the different sqidskin spots on the screen.
The project is based on processing and OpenGL Shading Language and uses a Kinect camera for tracking the position and color.
Squid Skin was a semester project at FH Aachen - University of Applied Science with help of Prof.Eva Vitting and Alexander Langer
