Hafdís Hlynsdóttir is a promising interior designer from Garðabær, Iceland. Guided by curiosity and passion, Hafdís moved abroad to Barcelona, Spain, to follow her dream of becoming an interior designer. She graduated as an interior designer from the Istituto Europeo di Design in June 2023, where she received a “Best Thesis Award”, issued by the Istituto Europeo di Design, for her inspiring project, Bridging Generations. Having pursued her studies in the vibrant city of Barcelona, she now combines her unique cultural experiences with a deep-rooted appreciation for Icelandic nature. Hafdís approaches design with sensitivity, striving to create flowing atmospheres where each element harmoniously unites. Each hue is carefully selected, creating a captivating symphony of visual allure that evokes emotions within the spaces she transforms. With careful attention to detail, she ensures that every aspect of her designs is executed with the utmost precision. From the arrangement of furniture to the choice of materials, she weaves a tapestry that reflects both purpose and aesthetic appeal. She enjoys creating a poetic balance between light and shadow, cultivating human-centric environments that prioritize the well-being of the users.
