Visual identity for the Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition contains a complex identity system from logoto code-generic visuals. The logo is a combination of the composers` initials (KSZ) with visual reference topostindustrial character of the city of Katowice (Poland).
Szymanowski`s classical music is recognized as romantic, pathetic and heavy at the same time. That is why the logo in its industrial form hides a symbol of heart. It is unveiled asa winner statue form (logo in 90 degrees rotated version) and poster variations.
Additionaly the logo defines a geometric scheme for code-generic variations with emotional touch at the same time.
