La Redonda is a chair that flirts with a pure two-dimen-sional geometrical figure, the circle. This perfect shape ismolded after being cut over a steel plate, maintaining itspurity in its step towards the three dimensions.
The dis-tortion that turns a steel plate into an object occupyingspace, fills it with complexity and gives it new geometricrelationships at the same time that, given the necessary dis-tance, still holds the simplicity of the circle.
