Editorial design of nature's field guides collection. Each guide concerns a group of animals with information about the different species and biology. The square format (21cm X 21cm) is based on a common layout, differing only in the color associated with each group.
Taking advantage of illustrations, we tried to associate a flat color to each publication in order to distinguish it from the others and create a hybrid collection as a metaphor for the diversity of species in nature.
The interior of the publications presents text accompanied by several illustrations and photographs, as well as a catalog of the main species present in the region. This project was designed for the Environmental Monitoring and Interpretation Center of the Municipality of Viana do Castelo, Portugal.
It will support the visits and environmental training that the CMIA promotes in its facilities.
