The German proverb: „to fall in with the door“ means to take someone by surprise, or to get straight to the point without introduction. The New Year‘s wish: „So that also in 2020 your guests do not fall with the door into the house“ also means in its double meaning: if we design, install or maintain your doors, no accidents will happen and they will not fall over when your guests come for a visit.
This is card number 7 of a series of so far 7 New Years Cards for a carpenter. The concept is to play in a funny way with words or sayings which originally come from the work of a carpenter - the tools or materials etc.
The blue cards in the corporate colour of the carpenter are sent every January to the customers and friends. They are always combined with a thank for the good relationship in the past and the hope for a good continuing collaboration and best wishes for the New Year.
