As every year the book gathers testimonials of indisputable contemporary referents. It includes a specific section dedicated to Bilbao, with artists that have contributed with their works to shape the current landscape of the city and the territory, among others Frank O. Ghery & Associates. The book also dedicates a part to emerging artists, the new talent section in which all participants have accessed through an open call to design schools throughout Europe.
We want to explore what is happening in Europe. To broaden horizons, to make a review of existing references. Therefore, in Selected we propose a transverse look across different design disciplines. A space for uncertainty, a natural ground for inspiration, and a space for the diversity of speeches and approaches with which each artist or designer builds his or her own imaginary.
