— Margarida Azevedo, is designer, creative director at margaridaazevedo+joaolemos—designers associados, researcher, professor and course leader of the Communication Design Course at ESAD - College of Art and Design, Matosinhos. PhD in Design at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Master in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto and Graduated in Graphic Communication Design at Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto. Fellow of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Consultant of the Portuguese Design Center and Designer and Creative Director, since 1989. Researcher in the areas of Communication Design, Packaging Design, Emotive Design, Craft Design she has guided national and international workshops, participated in juries, congresses and scientific commissions, as well as coordinated several award-winning projects, and published articles in books, magazines and other publications. — João Lemos is a designer, creative director at margaridaazevedo+joaolemos—designers associados, researcher and professor at ESAD - College of Art and Design. Graduated in Communication Design by Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto, with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design from Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto and a PhD in Design from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Consultant of the Portuguese Design Center and Creative Director, since 1989. Researcher in the areas of Graphic Design and Emotive Design in the subjects of Digital Typography and Craft Design, delivered several lectures particularly in the context of the projects that has successfully coordinated, made pedagogical orientations of awarded projects, participated in several juries and maintains a continuous design practice as a designer since 1986. —
