PMDESIGN was responsible for the creation of the brand and graphic materials (posters, flyers and merchandising) for the Festival “Há Festa na Aldeia 2017”, which takes place every year in 5 small villages in the North and Center of Portugal.
The purpose of this event is to spread the traditions, culture, music and gastronomy of these regions. To help us develop the image of the 2017 edition we invite a worldwide specialist in chicken portraits, Dutch photographer Alex Ten Napel.
A chicken from each village was chosen as a photographic model and the result was a surprisingly simple, genuine and distinctive visual language. Each poster, besides the chosen “model”, contains a brief technical file with: scientific name, family name, age, owner and residence of the chicken.
