Iranian Mysticism

Roghayyeh Feizi Khankandi

Iranian mysticism is a logotype with a spiritual connotation, and that is why I used the Bannai Script to demonstrate this spirituality. This script is commonly used in religious buildings and it dates back to the early arrival of Islam in Iran.

In my opinion, it was very much related to the meaning of this logotype. The composition is step-by-step and ascending, which is a symbol of Iranian beliefs that can reach its peak with Iranian Mysticism.

Also, equality in the Bannai Script created from equal squares gives the logotype beautiful harmony.

My interest in art is rooted in my adolescence. One of my sisters is a painter, and another one is a writer; my mother used to do handicrafts and she made very special dolls that were full of colors and textures.

Growing up in this atmosphere, I became acquainted with art. Besides, living in the mountainous city Ardabil located in the northwest of Iran with spectacular nature and exquisite handicrafts had always kept my interest in art alive.
